I trained as a sculptor and work now as an artist and freelance consultant.  Running a successful business with a twin faced proposition, working within the creative industries on professional practice towards improving their operations. with business and industry I work with notions of creativity and collaboration; risk and leading change, through experience learning.

Until recently I was the programme tutor at the university of hertfordshire for their suite of continuing professional development courses for creatives. Including teaching critical and professional practice modules at under and post-graduate levels. I coach individual artists and have written on developing best practice.

I worked regionally across the east of england on eat (essential artist training) a 2 year project with commissions east and business link, providing training opportunities for artists, funded by the arts council England and European social fund. For 6 years, I was the first director of the Florence Trust Studios a charitable arts organisation that supports and enables some of the country's leading emerging artists to take the next step of their career.

I am an accredited facilitator who has been running artists professional development training for over eleven years within the arts industry with space studios london, [an] the artists information company and brighton art fair. I have worked with a number of partner business clients and have contributed to the accelerated development programme at london business school.
