IMG_8230Rod trained as a sculptor and works now as an artist and freelance facilitator and consultant.

His art practice underpins his business offer. Creativity is a vital aspect to what he brings along with the experiences he has accumulated through navigating a diverse and exciting ‘portfolio career’. He has worked across higher education, the health service, the 3rd sector and not-for-profit CIC’s as well as for some of the leading blue chip organisations within the Creative & Cultural Industry.

As an exhibiting artist his work can be seen on his own site and collaborative gallery site NOHO Artists.

Rod offers artists the opportunity to explore their practice and career aspirations with an established fellow artist that brings a critical framework and over 25 years of valuable industry knowledge.

Working within education and community settings provides Rod with expertise that allows him to offer training and guidance in learning and participation.  He facilitates practitioners, schools and arts organisations that deliver outstanding collaborative and co-created projects with the young and old.

Towards business he works with notions of creativity and collaboration, risk, leading change in uncertain times and the business critical pursuit of innovation. Through arts based workshops he guides participants to artists from whom they might gain practical insight and wisdom.
